Terms of Service

MCPGate is a managed Model Context Protocol (MCP) hub that provides credential isolation and deterministic guardrails between AI assistants (such as Claude and ChatGPT) and third-party services (such as Gmail, Slack, and GitHub). MCPGate provides a unified endpoint through which AI clients can securely call third-party APIs without ever receiving your actual API credentials.

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and your MCPGate API key.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account. Providing false information may result in account termination.
• One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account without explicit permission.

You agree not to use MCPGate to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party
• Transmit any malware, ransomware, or otherwise harmful code through the MCP endpoint
• Attempt to circumvent guardrails, rate limits, or security controls
• Use the Service to perform unauthorized access to third-party services (i.e., you must have valid authorization for any connected service)
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of MCPGate
• Resell or commercially redistribute the Service without written permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.

MCPGate offers a free tier and a Pro plan at $10 USD per month.

• The Pro plan is billed monthly in advance. All charges are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
• Prices may change with 30 days written notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
• Payment is processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not store your full payment card details.
• Failure to pay may result in downgrade to the free tier or suspension of the account.
• Applicable taxes (including GST at GSTIN: 30AAGCC2045J1Z3) will be added where required by Indian law.

MCPGate stores your OAuth tokens in an encrypted vault. However:

• You are responsible for ensuring that the OAuth scopes you grant to MCPGate are appropriate for your use case.
• MCPGate acts as an authorized proxy on your behalf. Any actions performed by AI clients through MCPGate are performed with your OAuth credentials. You remain responsible for those actions.
• We recommend using the minimum OAuth scopes necessary (principle of least privilege) and enabling guardrails to restrict AI actions.
• If you suspect unauthorized access, disconnect your connectors immediately from the dashboard and notify us at [email protected].

We will make reasonable efforts to maintain high availability of the Service. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free operation. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where possible.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CodeMax IT Solutions Private Limited shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized access to your accounts due to factors outside our control
• Actions performed by AI clients using your credentials through MCPGate
• Interruption or cessation of the Service

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from the use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

MCPGate and all associated software, documentation, and content are the exclusive property of CodeMax IT Solutions Private Limited and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of your data, OAuth tokens, and configurations. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your data solely to provide the Service.

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. You may close your account from the Settings page. We may terminate or suspend access for violations of these Terms.

Upon termination, your OAuth tokens and account data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Audit log data will be deleted per the retention schedule of your plan.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 14 days notice of material changes by email or a prominent notice in the dashboard. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Goa, India.
